Here you will  nd the most wonderful works from two of Denmark’s most exciting and proli c female painters, in Galerie Espen Artdenor.

Inge Hørup who now lives here in the Cote d’Azur in France will exhibit her latest large-scale paintings. She is widely known and has exhibited throughout Europe. She works primarily with paintings, often portraying women with a slight abstract composition, and a distinct stylistic expression. Her style and colouring is both subtle and strong, while her themes are sometimes with a twist of humour.

Pia Andersen is also an artist I know well. She works both in Denmark and in Spain with large formats and wonderful strong and powerful colours. Her special technique using only a spatula gives her paintings a fantastic depth as she builds layer on layer of colour in her paintings. Her non-figurative landscape paintings are a fantastic journey through colour, shapes, nuance of light, also with an intriguing depth in her paintings. She has exhibited around the world and also worked for many high profiled institutions like, Royal Copenhagen, the Danish house of parliament, the Danish embassy in Berlin, etc.
